I know yall don't want to hear about how I crave that sweet newborn little baby boy smell. So I won't go into how he made my ovaries twinged when I held this sweet 5 week old. But I will share a secret for a good newborn shoot. Have a vacuum handy! This little boy cried for the first 30 minutes of our shoot despite the calm shooshing we provided, the warm sun, cuddles and milk we fed him! So his Mama had a great idea, turn on the vacuum. That seemed to work the other day for her at home. And it worked! All of the sudden he became the sweetest, most laid back little guy. It was loud, and made the room smell like my dogs hair, but it worked, nonetheless and I was able to get a cute shot or two of baby K.
